Hello, non-gadgety folks! I know some of you may have picked up the Kindle and are loving it, but I think you may want to see this. I mean, Amazon is great and all (I order almost everything from there including food), but this in pretty neat looking. Barnes & Noble, yes the forgotten bookstore, is fighting back in the eBook reader department with a new gadget that looks very promising based on specs alone: Android…check. Wifi…check. Color touch screen…check. Reads PDFs…check. Apple-ish demo video…check. Ability to look at the thing in a store before you buy…check. Ability to read a free book while visiting a store….check. Ability to lend books and read on Macs, PCs, blackberries, and just about anything else with electricity…check. Sold out gadget for holidays…check. Preordered a few to sell on ebay the week before xmas…check.
